The aim of this blog is to follow the journey that we got into when we decided to completely rebuild our existing house and make a huge extension on the rear (the black building and the flat one). As any other young couple, our dreams were (still are) big and our pockets rather small. This left us with little choice but to commit ourselves to carry out all building work for the new build part and restoring work for the existing house.
Enthusiastic as we were, we started making plans, drawings, asking for permits and saving every single euro that got into our pocket. Three years fast-forward, we are still working on the project. We have spent about every weekend working on it, afternoons after work and many holidays. The sacrifices we have done are big, but the satisfaction of seeing our dreams come true makes the entire process worth it.

En primer lugar, BIENVENIDOS todos y GRACIAS por tomaros unos minutos en visitarnos.
El objetivo de este blog es seguir el viaje en el que nos embarcamos cuando decidimos renovar completamente nuestra pequeña casa y hacer una gran ampliación en la parte trasera (el edificio negro y el de tejado plano). Como cualquier otra joven pareja, nuestros sueños eran grandes (todavía lo son) y nuestros bolsillos pequeños. Por ello, no nos quedó más remedio que comprometernos a realizar los trabajos de rehabilitación y construcción nosotros mismos.
Con el entusiasmo del primer día comenzamos a hacer planes, dibujos, pedir permisos y ahorrar cada euro que entraba. Tres años más tarde, seguimos trabajando en este proyecto. Desde entonces, hemos trabajado cada fin de semana, por las tardes después de trabajar e incluso en vacaciones. Hemos hecho grandes sacrificios pero la satisfacción de ver nuestros sueños hechos realidad hace que todo el proceso valga la pena.
